Important summary:
- Minimum hire period: 4 days
- The deposit and expected rental price are settled when the car is handed over
- A maximum of 2 drivers may be named in the contract
- Trips outside the Czech Republic are possible only with prior approval (including assistance/towing back to CZ)
- Late return charge: CZK 100 for every started hour
- The signed rental contract always takes precedence
These conditions are meant to make your responsibilities, charges and key rules clear before the rental begins.
In most cases, we ask for at least two valid identification documents (for example an ID card or passport plus a driving licence). The relevant information is then entered into the rental contract.
The car is delivered at the agreed place and time in a condition suitable for normal operation. Once the rental period ends, the customer is required to return the vehicle promptly to the agreed return location, unless another arrangement has been confirmed.
The shortest possible rental is 4 days. Rental duration is generally calculated in 24-hour periods, unless the contract states a different arrangement.
The deposit and the estimated rental amount are paid at the time of pick-up. The car is protected by comprehensive insurance; the excess is 10%, with a minimum of CZK 10,000. Any vehicle-specific details may be stated directly in the contract.
If the car is returned after the agreed time, a contractual late-return fee of CZK 100 for every started hour will be charged until the vehicle is handed back.
Due to insurance restrictions, foreign travel is not allowed for foreign nationals / non-residents of the Czech Republic.
Unless we provide written approval in advance, the vehicle may only be used within the Czech Republic.
The vehicle may be driven only by people named in the rental contract. In standard cases, no more than 2 drivers may be registered. The customer is not allowed to hand the vehicle over to anyone who is not authorised.
The customer must maintain the vehicle in a condition comparable to the handover condition, taking normal wear and tear into account. The car must be returned clean, and the fuel level must not be below the level at handover. Missing fuel may be billed at the current market rate together with a handling charge, according to the contract.
Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly forbidden. The customer must avoid damage to both the interior and exterior. Animals may only be transported with prior approval. Please do not leave documents or valuables inside the car.
If an accident occurs, the customer must contact the police and notify the rental company. In the event of a technical problem, stop the vehicle safely, switch off the engine and get in touch with us immediately. Repairs exceeding CZK 1,000 must not be carried out without our prior approval.
Any fines, penalties or similar charges arising during the rental period are the customer’s responsibility. For the duration of the rental, the customer is regarded as the operator of the vehicle.
Lost or damaged keys / remote control: CZK 5,000. Lost or damaged vehicle documents or registration plate: CZK 5,000. Burnt seats or permanent stains: CZK 10,000. Deep cleaning of a wet interior: CZK 2,500. Heavy exterior dirt: CZK 200. Final amounts always depend on the contract and the actual condition in which the vehicle is returned.
The customer must take reasonable steps to protect the vehicle against theft and must not leave documents or valuables inside. If the vehicle is stolen, the customer may be responsible for the resulting loss and/or for the difference between the market value and the insurer’s payout, as defined in the contract.
We process personal data for contract performance, compliance with legal duties (such as tax documentation) and protection of legitimate interests (for example vehicle location monitoring). The rented car may contain a geolocation system, which is used only in exceptional cases, such as locating the vehicle, and only until the vehicle has been returned.
